President Trump: «I want to congratulate Miklos Szántho and Matt Schlapp for the great work they’re doing with CPAC Hungary. You know how I feel about Hungary, and you know how I feel about CPAC. I truly respect and care about both of you.

I also want to give a very special recognition to Hungary’s leader, Viktor Orbán, who is a great man and highly respected by all. He’s done a brilliant job leading, and he is a very, very special person.

And when it comes to CPAC, around the world, they are respected as an organization. They have conservative values—but conservative values are very good values. And I can assure you of that. They want strong borders. They want law and order. They want all the things that you want.

They have great respect for the military. It has to be fair. It has to be equitable. It has to be everything you want in order to make a country great and to make your life great.

So I just want to thank everyone. And again, to Matt and Miklos and all the people, all my friends over there—we appreciate you being there, and enjoy. Enjoy your lives. See you soon.»
